As a Pension and Benefits Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and administering employee pension and benefits programs for the entire Canadian operations, as well as being an active partner in maximizing the effectiveness of pension and benefits program for the USA, Mexican and European operations of the company. You will also ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements of various employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, disability benefits, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.

**What does your typical day look like?**
- Lead Canadian pension and benefits management and administration including member management and accurate processing of member information;
- Create and maintain procedural documentation including training materials, intranet web platform content;
- Responsible for collecting information and understanding all pension and benefits programs offered by the company for all its operations outside of Canada;
- Provide timely and effective high-quality responses to inquiries related to pension and benefits to ensure employee experience excellence;
- Resolve issues related to coverage, claims, and plan details;
- Liaise with HR, Finance and payroll to resolve anomalies in a timely manner and provide advice on all pension and benefits programs;
- Create and disseminate communication materials related to benefits and pension plans to enhance employee understanding and engagement.

**What skills and experience are we looking for?**
- Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Studies, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; or a combination of related work experience and education;
- 5-7 years of experience in a Pension and Benefits Analyst / Specialist role;
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or a Pension Certification is a preferred asset;
- Experience working / deploying pension and benefits programs experience in a global environment (an asset);
- Knowledge of legislation in varying jurisdictions (International an asset);
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suit (advanced Excel skills for reporting, metrics and data validation);
- Knowledge about benefits and retirement planning;
- Strong communication skills in French and English.(mandatory)
