**Responsibilities**:
- Recruit, interview, and hire qualified workers.
- Provide workers with proper employee benefits.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, settle disputes, and provide human resources advice and counsel.
- Oversee compliance with labour laws.
- Serve as an advocate for the company's workers to protect their interests.
- Assist with employee relations issues.
