Job Requirements:
Languages: English - must be proficient in written communications in English

Education: Graduated from a recognized Interior Design Diploma or Bachelor Degree program would be helpful but not necessary based on other simialr experience

Work Experience: Minimum three years working experience in interior design firm or equivalent
- Must be detailed oriented, demonstrate a proactive approach, work with a strong sense of urgency and be extremely organized.
- You will assist with the design process and assist lead designers in day to day project management. Including but not limited to: picking up samples, delivering items to site and site meetings to collect data and review installations
- You will communicate with clients, coordinate deliveries and resolve client issues
- Assist clients in a professional and courteous manner with product information
- Responsible for outstanding customer service
- Maintain a comprehensive and current knowledge of the industry and trends to provide insight and serve as a resource
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding services, products, pricing, availability, product use, and payment terms
- Assist with preparation of proposals and purchase orders - design and construction
- Assist with management of multiple projects simultaneously
- Process returns and maintain inventory
- Organize office and help create new systems to maintain organization
- Will be trained in new interior design project management software called MyDoma to develop client proposals, budgets and finishes and fixture spreadsheets
- Assist with scheduling and calendar management
- Invoicing sales orders and verifying vendor invoices

Other requirements include:

- Must be able to work the assigned schedule and comply with the Company's timekeeping policy
- Must have own vehicle, you will be compensated for mileage
- Must have laptop to work remotely and on site as needed
- We are looking for someone who lives within Toronto with their own vehicle as we will require you to attend site meetings to meet with clients and trades.
- Subcontract position with full time hours, responsibly for tracking time spent per task and invoicing bi-weekly

When working for our company with full time hours within the hours of 9 - 5 Monday to Friday. You must have own HST number and will be responsible for tracking your time spent on each task per project invoicing for your time on a biweekly basis.

Work Location information:

- Remotely or on site within the GTA
- Site meetings with clients and designers
- Site supervision within the GTA

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
