**The Opportunity**:
Petra Design Inc is a Toronto Based company that specializes in the design and installation of exterior and interior decorative solutions for residential and commercial projects.

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper to support our team in North York. If you are self-sufficient, and thrive off going above and beyond to contribute to the success of your team, then this role may be just for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Organize and maintain files, records, and documents
- Manage office supplies and equipment.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, payroll data entry, etc.
- Prepare reports for management.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

**Experience and Requirements**:
Must-have:

- Excellent English and professional and personable written and verbal communication skills.
- You feel comfortable speaking on the phone, whether it be for followups from clients, or engaging the client in a conversation about what they like or dislike about our service. _**Excellent customer communication and customer service skills is a must.**_
- You have good technical skills using computers, the internet and Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheets.
- 2+ years of experience as an office manager or admin assistant or equivalent.
- Experience maintaining a professional level of employer/employee privacy.
- Highly proficient in conflict management.
- Experience using accounting software

Nice-to-have:

- Experience in the commercial and residential architectural design industry.
- Experience using Quickbooks Accounting software
- Experience creating social media content with a proficiency in Canva and the Adobe Suite
