Receptionist/logistics Support

**Job Summary**
Reception/Logistics Support will greet customers and guests by phone and in person in our showroom. This position is full time temporary with potential for full time permanent. We will train for this role.
**Required Skills**:
- Greet and welcome all guests as they walk into the showroom
- Answer, screen & direct calls
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of showroom
- Organize samples and request new as needed from suppliers ensuring all samples are up to date
- Tag sinks as they are received, make notes in system (Moraware) for installation
- Process & record payments
- Prepare, print & scan documents
- Prepare signage and PowerPoint presentations for showroom and shop use
- Provide clerical support to Logistics
- Discusses Stone Surface Product projects with existing and new customers
- Other duties that may be required by management/owner.
**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in or completed Diploma in Business Administration, Architectural Technology, Design/Interior Design or Equivalent Specialized Experience
**Physical Demands**
- Ability to sit for 6 hours
- Ability to stand/walk for 4 hours
- Able to lift 25 kilos or 50 lbs unassisted and carry as required
- Ability to go up and down stairs while carrying merchandise
- Ability to walk and carry at the same time and push/pull as required
- Ability to work in an environment conducive to the manufacture of man made and natural stone products
Health and Safety Responsibilities
**WORKERS**
- Must complete and attend the mandatory trainings assigned or given by the management.
- Must conduct a pre-inspection for equipment as required.
- Use or wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment in compliance with MOL.
- Work safely in accordance with the company’s or the client’s health and safety policy and program and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations.
- Participate in solving health and safety problems.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
