Job Responsibilities:

- Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm. Monday - Friday.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Type and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence
- Become familiar with our FERO product line
- Provide material and freight quotes to distributors and customers
- Responsible for management of product inquiries, primarily receiving customer product orders, correctly sizing products, working with customers to ensure orders are correct, and working with production department to manufacture and ship the orders
- Reviewing drawings with help from Technical Team to determine correct product utilization and sizing, whether the product requested will work, and if not, working with FERO Engineers for best recommendation
- Assist with managing project documentation and correspondence
- Assist project managers in any other way necessary
- Monitor project costs and prepare estimates as directed by project managers
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting and coordinating resources
- Processing credit card payments - walk-in purchases, material orders, and galvanizing work orders etc.
- Preparation of forms, documents and correspondence as required
- Assist with basic clerical duties as needed

Essential Experience and Skills Required:

- Minimum 3+ years administrative experience required
- Diploma from Secondary School. Post-secondary administrative training is an asset
- Proven experience in an office setting as an administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- High level of independence in managing day-to-day administration
- High degree of organization, problem solving, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize, achieve goals, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a focus on providing excellent customer service
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Result oriented and service excellence focused
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Fluent in English
