Purpose
As AdaptAbilities’ new Program Supervisor you are accountable for leading and managing a team to meet identified key performance outcomes. In this role you are accountable for the overall delivery of programs and services in their assigned program area and successful execution of service delivery, supervision and performance management of team members and collaboration internally and externally. As a conscientious Program Supervisor, you will act with integrity, be open to growth, live our purpose, cultivate teamwork, and put forth an extraordinary effort to empower people with diverse abilities and their families to grow, succeed, and belong.
Key Functions
- Lead the team in planning, delivering, monitoring and evaluating enhanced respite services resulting in an extraordinary degree of customer and employee satisfaction
- Support and supervise team members while effectively utilizing financial and operational resources through compliance with organizational and departmental policies and core processes
- Accountable for consistent achievement and results of individual and program outcomes
- Responsible for effectively maintaining and utilizing funding according to policies, agreements and contracts
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Maintain timely, accurate and professional correspondence, records, reports, schedules, spreadsheets and documentation
- Ensure the safety of participants, staff, volunteers and family members attending programing and facilities

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in disability studies, or other relevant discipline
- Two years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Supervised, mentored and coached a team of at least five staff
- Practical experience and theoretical knowledge regarding complex behaviors, human rights approach and community inclusion
- Demonstrated proficiency working in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Available to perform and complete duties outside regular business hours
- Clear Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check
- Standard First Aid Level C & AED, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Abuse Prevention and Response Protocol
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle with clear driving abstract

Working Conditions
This position is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30pm (flexibility required). This position is based out of our Head Office.
