**Position Summary**
The Talent Systems Analyst, reporting to the Associate Director, HRIS and Operations, is responsible for supporting diverse HR initiatives, with a focus on HR software: HRIS, LMS, and Performance and Talent Management. Working with confidential data, the role involves analysing, reporting, diagnosing, and solving software-related issues, covering aspects like performance reviews, ratings, coaching, and improvement plans.

The Analyst supports and coordinates projects in People & Equity, Learning and Development, and Performance and Talent Management systems. This includes managing integrations, ensuring data integrity, and identifying priorities and challenges for a College-wide launch. Offering business expertise, the Analyst guides research, analysis, and implementation of best practices for the broader People and Equity team.

**Responsibilities**
- Extracts and analyzes data from various systems to provide management reports and statistics for data-driven decision-making.
- Utilizes automated data mining and ETL methods to extract, analyze, and evaluate information across systems, supporting decision-making and business processes.
- Manages data analytics, responds to queries, and maintains documentation for bulk data operations.
- Designs and executes data queries for year-end processes and provides content management support.
- Facilitates discussions to elicit, analyze, and communicate business requirements.
- Examines code and functionality of integrated systems, determining the impact of requested changes.
- Documents detailed user requirements and develops business process analysis mappings.
- Works with SMEs to create user documentation and conducts feasibility evaluations of proposed systems changes.
- Advocates for continual process improvement models and evaluates business requirements from a data perspective.
- Keeps up-to-date on methods and technologies related to data management, databasing, and interfacing.
- Manages relationships with stakeholders and vendors, executes quality assurance processes, and recommends optimal technical solutions.
- Provides guidance and advice to support department projects/activities.
- Collaborates with other departments on issues related to LMS, Talent Systems, and HRIS.
- Participates in meetings with managers and project managers to provide input on project issues and advise on HR technology systems.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Three (3) year diploma/degree and professional certification in Human Resources or Business Administration with a focus on Learning Technology, LMS, Talent Systems and/or HRIS, data management, or business analytics; Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering, or Computer Science; or equivalent combination of education and related practical experience, or related field.
- Proven successful, responsible and complex HRIS analysis experience and several years in an analyst role for a large service-oriented organization.
- Proficiency in using automated data mining and ETL methods to gather and process data.
- Advanced aptitude for problem solving.
- Proven track record of maintaining data integrity and quality through data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance processes.
- Expertise in managing content updates for various platforms, such as HR intranet websites and training materials. Knowledge of content management systems and practices for ensuring up-to-date and relevant information.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to multi-task and deal with multiple and competing deadlines with flexibility to shift priorities as required.
- Provide problem-solving/analytical skills with a keen sense of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure support across a wide range of initiatives, including coordinating activities
