The Sales Manager is responsible to negotiate and contract new/repeat business by prospecting, doing sales calls, and networking to generate, business for our collection of hotels in downtown Toronto while achieving guest satisfaction and soliciting past and new business to exceed revenue goals as assigned. The individual will serve as a leader within the Group team, enhancing departmental effectiveness to achieve revenue goals while developing their skill set with a deeper understanding of all sales segments and revenue management.

The Sales Manager is responsiblefor group business, meetings, and conferences, bust also the coordination with clients and the hotel departments to ensure successful events.

As a Sales Manager with the Downtown Sales Collection Team, you will work closely with the hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest service and strong financial results. You will also participate in the sales and marketing efforts within the properties.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Achieve revenue targets with a focus on growth and development for Downtown Hotel Collection.
- Solicit, negotiate, and close new and repeat business through various efforts (outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, referrals, networking, etc.) to maximize revenue to meet or exceed goals.
- Participate in annual business planning, strategy, and tactical planning.
- Submit weekly sales action plan to Regional Sales Director - Downtown Hotel Collection for the coming week outlining sales activities and results from previous prospecting activities (Delphi report).
- Keep current on all service offerings, marketing programs, and overall property updates for each hotel.
- Respond to all assigned leads and customer queries promptly and professionally.'
- You have charisma and a "can do" attitude that engages people to want to do business with us.
- You have attention to detail and are self-motivated.
- You're open to new thoughts and ideas and enjoy working with people.
- You bring a new perspective and “out-of-the-box” ideas to the position.
- Distribute and share uncovered leads / relevant contacts.
