Instrumentation Branch Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee our operations at our Edmonton location. The following is a list of the major responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership to the branch team, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
- Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
- Monitor employee performance, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback and support for professional development.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market share within the branch territory.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for additional services, and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through networking, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution within the branch, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols, quality control measures, and risk management practices to mitigate project risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead the estimating process for instrumentation construction projects, analyzing project requirements, conducting material takeoffs, and preparing accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information and develop competitive bid proposals.
- Review project plans and specifications, identify value engineering opportunities, and provide input to optimize project costs and timelines.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant management experience
- 10+ years of industrial instrumentation experience
- Strong business acumen with relationship building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, technical competence, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and efficient with time management
- Awareness of applicable codes and industry standards
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
