**Overview**

The Building Maintenance Custodian position is a critical role within our organization as the internal and external upkeep of our building directly impacts the lives of our residents and the community of Uxbridge. The individual in this role also contributes day-to-day to our organizational culture through compassion, kindness, and respect. The experienced Building Maintenance Custodian will be a hands-on person and will focus on building cleanliness, upkeep and handyman duties. They will also provide vacation coverage for the Property Manager.

**Responsibilities, but not limited to**:

- Follow routine cleaning schedules for the vacuuming, cleaning, dusting and mopping of all common areas with seasonal deeper cleanings of common areas
- Indoor and outdoor general repair and maintenance work including, but not limited to painting, woodworking, basic plumbing and electrical work (that does not require a license - for example changing light bulbs)
- Handyman repairs of all kinds
- Understand equipment and building systems under direction of the Property Manager
- Painting inside and outside as required
- Landscaping projects
- Special projects under the direction of or alongside the Property Manager
- Provide vacation coverage for Property Manager (including “on-call” 24/7 coverage) *Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.

**Salary**: $56,000.00-$64,000.00 per year
