Eddyfi is looking for an Applications Expert in the Surface Technologies department to contribute to the success of current projects.

**In this role, you will**:

- Ensure the commissioning and deployment of non-destructive testing equipment at customer sites, both nationally and internationally.
- Provide technical support in the field, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment and software issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure optimal customer experience.
- Train customers on the proper use of equipment and software, providing hands-on training.
- Analyze non-destructive testing reports and write detailed reports presenting results, conclusions and appropriate recommendations.
- Actively participate in the development of new product features and enhancements by providing comments and suggestions based on customer feedback and your technical expertise.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
- Actively participate in the design, modification, testing and implementation of industrial electromagnetic inspection systems.
- Participate in the development of state-of-the-art probes while ensuring that the product developed is effective in real-life industrial environments;
- Manage costs, deadlines and technical requirements related to the delivery of development projects in accordance with quality system processes and procedures.
- Participate in the design, modification, testing and implementation of industrial electromagnetic inspection systems. More specifically, you'll help design experimental test plans, analyze measurement and test data, and write and review technical reports (internal and external);

**Profile required**:

- You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, a college diploma in science or a related discipline;
- You have two to four years' relevant experience;
- You have an advanced level of oral and written English;
- You have strong analytical skills and a facility for executing test plans to extract relevant information;
- You have knowledge of electromagnetic inspection technologies and the NDT market (an asset);
- Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and find effective solutions, even in complex situations;
- You have strong interpersonal skills with customers, and are a good communicator and team player;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, train staff and collaborate with internal teams;
- Ability to write clear and concise technical reports;
- You have a strong ability to work to tight deadlines and manage priorities;
- You are self-motivated, rigorous and committed to delivering high-quality work;
Availability for frequent national and international travel according to project needs.
