We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Event Planner to join our team for a contract position from May to September. This individual will play a crucial role in planning and executing charity and recruiting events over the summer months.

As a Corporate Event Planner at Kingsdale Mortgage Centre, you will be responsible for orchestrating various events aimed at both charitable initiatives and talent acquisition efforts. This includes reaching out to potential sponsors, managing the entire event planning process, and ensuring the seamless execution of events. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the senior executive team to align event strategies with company objectives. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Event Planning and Coordination**: Conceptualize, plan, and execute charity and recruiting events from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects are meticulously organized and executed flawlessly.
- **Sponsorship Outreach**: Identify and engage potential sponsors for events, maintaining strong communication and relationships to secure sponsorships and partnerships that align with our company values and objectives. Create and oversee the development of marketing materials such as sponsorship decks to effectively pitch opportunities to potential sponsors.
- **Marketing Material Creation**: Develop and oversee the creation of marketing materials for events, including but not limited to sponsorship decks, event-specific advertising, and promotional collateral. Ensure all materials are on-brand and effectively communicate the value proposition of participating in the event.
- **Venue Management**: Liaise with venue staff to coordinate logistics, manage setup and breakdown, and ensure all technical requirements are met for a smooth event experience.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively to maximize impact while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the senior executive team to align event strategies with overarching company goals and objectives, providing regular updates on event progress and outcomes.
- **On-Site Event Management**: Oversee all aspects of events on-site, including managing staff and volunteers, addressing any issues or concerns, and ensuring the overall success of the event.
- **Post-Event Evaluation**: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement for future events.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, with a track record of successfully executing a variety of events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with sponsors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and finding innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required during event periods.
