SOTI is committed to providing its employees with endless possibilities; learning new things, working with the latest technologies and making a difference in the world.
The Position
Project Coordinator - Program Team
The Company
The SOTI ONE Platform makes mobile and IoT business operations simpler, smarter and more reliable.
SOTI’s growth and success are the result of a commitment to innovation through entrepreneurial culture and leadership. Employees are driven to make an impact, offer a unique value and most importantly, be part of a winning team.
The Team
The Program Team works with a global set of OEM Manufacturers to certify their devices and ensure they are SOTI-ready.
The OEMs make handheld devices or hardware that is used by organizations around the world. This hardware/device may be a smart printer or scanner used in a warehouse facility or it could be a tablet on a plane that provides passengers with in-flight entertainment options. What they have in common is that they are managed by SOTI software. Our clients, whether retail operations or airlines, expect these devices to be compliant with SOTI software.
Working with the OEMs and SOTI’s internal technical experts, the Program Team coordinates the onboarding of the OEM manufacturers. The team interviews OEMs and briefs them on the certification process, provides high-level technical guidance, arranges for devices to be shipped for testing, facilitates meetings with SOTI technical experts and verifies the completion of the hardware certification. Lastly, the Program Team forges partnerships with the OEMs to ensure they have the relevant support from SOTI to succeed in the long run.
What You’ll Do
You will use your organizational, project management, and communication skills to work with OEMs. Your responsibilities include:
- Take ownership of the certification process and guide it through the various project stages, ensuring alignment with both internal teams and external partners.
- Oversee the progress of projects and take corrective action in case of delays to ensure timely completion. Coordinate with the Sales Team to align completion schedules with their requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders regarding questions about the certification process or its progress. Collaborate with SOTI Technical experts to ensure they have the necessary information to offer guidance to the OEM during the certification process.
- Receive incoming certification requests and work with OEMs to outline brief them on the certification process.
- Collect, organize, and uphold pertinent documents throughout the certification procedure, such as Statements of Work, NDAs, etc. Collaborate with SOTI Legal and serve as a conduit for communication with external stakeholders.
- Leverage SalesForce and other SOTI sanctioned software tools to communicate with team members and ensure thorough documentation of activities and events that are relevant to the role.
- Work with SOTI’s legal, business operations and other cross-functional teams to ensure that processes, procedures, and ad hoc requests by OEMs are in line with SOTI’s business practices.
- Oversee the Order Processing for key OEM Resellers (those OEMs that sell SOTI as part of their contractual agreements).
- Provide responsive communications across multiple time zones with the ability to work outside traditional office hours when required.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the mobile device management industry and SOTI’s Product Offerings.
The Qualifications
- Post-secondary at University or College level with 3 years minimum in a Project Management capacity.
- Though deep technical knowledge is not required, a general understanding of technical concepts is required with a willingness to learn
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills. You will be dealing with our valued OEMs and you need to be professional and courteous
Where Can You Go?
SOTI is growing fast and has doubled in size to over 2000 employees in a few years. There is lots of opportunity for ambitious self-starters. Your career trajectory from here can take you into roles like account management, senior project management or sales engineers/pre-sales.
