The AGCO is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide high-level, confidential administrative support to the Directors in the Corporate Affairs, Strategic Policy, and Planning Division. This position is responsible for maintaining confidential files, information, and data in file inventory control systems. The position helps office operations run smoothly and communicates information to division staff as needed.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will:

- Schedule appointments, meetings, and arrange for equipment as necessary, ensuring attendees receive material for meetings
- Provide directors with information for meetings by obtaining files or briefing materials as necessary, preparing and distributing materials for staff and meetings
- Support the Division with operationalizing Branch initiatives, such as pilot programs and new policies that impact internal and external stakeholders, province-wide
- Administer and monitor AGCO Engagement Portal Admin
- Provide administrative support for AGCO speaking engagements and conference attendance

**How do I qualify?**:

- Administrative support knowledge and experience to manage and coordinate three Directors and their senior-level administrative functions
- Good knowledge of varied administrative record-keeping/filing systems including correspondence systems
- Good knowledge of word processors, spreadsheets, presentation software and database management software
- Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively deal with all levels of staff, utilizing tact, good judgement, and diplomacy
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment
- Strong computer skills with good working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and the ability to become proficient in in-house computerized databases
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate information gathering, advise individuals of decisions or actions, and to formulate correspondence
