**About This Opportunity**:
As a Specialist, Continuous Improvement, you will report into the Manufacturing Development Manager and be based out of our facility in North York. The Continuous Improvement Specialist will lead multiple projects that are supporting various continuous improvement pillar strategies. The support, collaboration, and leadership of this key individual on the floor will be key to drive results in this role.

This role will require the individual to be on-site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leads TLE (Training, Learning & Education Pillar) and drives compliance against regulatory, operational and TPM training programs.
- Leads AM Line Teams through AM Step Progression in alignment with AM and TPM Master Plan
- Supports FI Pillar and Kaizen activity. Provides direction, leadership and coaching to team members.
- Provides expertise and leadership on TPM Principles to all employees at various levels across the site
- Supports development of Training budget through alignment of required courses locally and managed through LMS and/or Alchemy
- Support Yield improvement activities and manages the weekly loss meeting
- Works to achieve a sustainable continuous improvement site culture
- Provides support in achieving the operational productivity targets and identifying Best Practices opportunities
- Collaborates with national network in order to communicate TPM benchmarking methodology
- Document current state processes and business systems and compare to benchmarking data and/or best practices in order to identify performance gaps
- Supports Operational shift requirements if required

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience of at least 5 years
- Minimum of three (3) + years’ experience in a Supply Chain role
- Experience with Process improvement, using CI methodologies and leading AM Teams
- Minimum of two (2) + years supervisory experience in a unionized environment
- Experience with change management and influencing organizational culture change.
- Minimum of one (1) + years’ experience in a project management role would be considered an asset but is not a requirement
