**Scope**:As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be responsible for evaluating and processing vendor bills for payment.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Audit and approve carrier bills against accruals
- Receive and organize electronic bills
- Working with operations and carriers to correct discrepancies
- Processing weekly vendor payments by EFT, Wire payments and cheques
- Entering bills into our accounting software
- Processing on demand payments for operations
- Confirming vendor rates on file are up to date

**Professional & Educational Background**
- 3-5+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience in the Transportation industry an asset
- Knowledge of QuickBooks
- Experience working with foreign currencies

**Skills & Abilities**:

- **Attention to Detail**:precision and accuracy is critical
- **Mathematical Aptitude**:Solid understanding of accounting and mathematic basics with analytical and problem-solving skills
- **Organization**:Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
