Reporting to the accounting manager, the Accounts Payable Analyst will be involved with internal and external financial and statistical reporting, ensuring compliance with transactional accounting, analyzing vendor invoices especially large volume of logistic invoices, developing and maintaining vendor invoices analysis and accrual templates, supporting month-end, quarterly and year-end information and reports, and internal controls. The Accounts Payable Analyst will build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide professional financial assistance in alignment with organizational priorities.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Full cycle Accounts Payable functions including but not limited to invoice processing, data entry, PO & non-PO transactions, matching invoices with goods receipts, or evidence of services and AP reporting activities as required
- Review & record employee expense reports, act as the first level of audit for transparency
- Review, reconcile, and record Corporate Credit Cards Statements, act as the first level of internal audit for transparency
- Prepare cheque runs, EFT and wire transfers accurately and on a timely basis
- Review, monitor and manage accounts payable aging
- Act as liaison with vendors, for various tasks including maximizing vendor discounts, payment status and payment details
- Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures
- Assist internal controls with respect to financial policies, processes, and procedures
- Contribute to team effort by completing financial reporting tasks as needed
- Communication with internal stakeholders to ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to

**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES**
Preferably 2+ years of relevant, high volume experience

Experience with complex ERPs, particularly SAP, considered an asset

Strong planning, organizing and time management skills

Demonstrated ability to effectively contribute in a team oriented environment

Strong communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with others at all levels of the organization
