**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As an IBM Pre-Sales SOC Solutions Architect, you assume overall technical leadership and responsibility for
designing solutions that leverage the capabilities of the IBM Threat Management Security Software portfolio and drive software and SaaS sales revenue. You will perform an array of technical activities that includes: setting a vision for the client, perform product presentations & demonstrations, execute proof of concepts, lead requirements gathering and analysis, design SOC related solutions and work as an integral part of the sales team to achieve a technical win and drive customer success.

partners.
Skills Needed:
Information Security Management Principles - Deep understanding of Cyber Security technologies and good understanding of SOC operations and the various roles, metrics and tools required to run an efficient and effective SOC. Need to have good understanding and experience with the following Security competencies: Incident Response, Threat hunting, Disaster Recovery, Access Controls, Authentication, Audit, Governance, and Risk Management,
IT Systems and Networking - A fundamental understanding of IT Systems and Services covering various network architectures, Virtualization, Cloud Services, Hosting Services, Desktop, etc.
Systems Development - A fundamental understanding of IT Systems Development
Sales Skills - Creativity in finding new opportunities and building relationships. Need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to do technical presentations and clearly communicate between executives and technical staff; Experience developing customer proposals and architecture diagrams; Experience working in a Sales Support/Consulting position with a focus on solution selling
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Position IBM Software Security value through architecture discussions and workshops
- Conduct Security Value assessment, prepare reports and present findings and recommendations
- Set the technical strategy for sales opportunities
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis
- Design Security Solutions using IBM Security Capabilities
- Client Facing Presentations & Whiteboard discussions
- Work as an integral part of a sales team
- Own key Executive relationships
- Manage day-to-day activities in IBMs CRM systems
- Drive customer success in Security
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Understanding of IBM Technologies such as QRadar and Resilient is a definite asset
- CISSP, CCSP or other Security Designation an asset
- Very high technical competency
- Work well in Team environments
- Like problem solving and architecting solutions
- Leader with great presentation skills
