**What you'll do**:
The Executive Vice President (EVP) is looking for a Branch Planning and Coordination Officer. You will be responsible for:

- Overseeing the operations of, and coordination with, the EVP office
- Facilitating and coordinating the Branch’s planning and performance management processes, and for providing strategic advice and support to the EVP
- Conducting research and analysis, developing and providing policy, program and managerial recommendations and advice to the EVP and branch management team
- Coordinating and overseeing branch action plans, managing the branch forward agenda by advancing files and initiatives and researching/collecting material to inform management participation in meetings and/or decision-making
- Establishing processes for projects and initiatives and coordinating timely reporting to EVP

**Essential Qualifications**:
**Education**:
A University Degree with experience in planning and performance management or an equivalent combination of education, relevant experience and job knowledge

**Language Requirements**:
Bilingual imperative with proficiency at BBB level. If you are unsure of your proficiency level, we encourage you to self-assess here.

**Experience**:

- Conducting research and analysis, and developing and providing recommendations to management
- Developing and reviewing briefing material, including memoranda, decks, briefing notes for management
- Managing projects, including multiple complex priorities and delivering within tight deadlines

**Knowledge of**:

- Principles and techniques for business process review
- Strategic business planning and measurement, including business and resource analysis
- Strong knowledge of research methods and techniques with a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret issues and trends
- Project management techniques and practices
- Strong knowledge of communication theories, principles and standards to gather information, report, present, facilitate, train, and influence others

**Ability**:

- Communicate effectively orally and in writing to varied audiences
- Communicate complex programs, situations or findings in a capacity that is clear and easily understood
- Translate strategic goals into tangible objectives and activities
- Lead cross-functional teams and actively contribute to the corporate planning process
