**Title: Accounting Coordinator**

The Accounting Coordinator is reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for assisting the finance team with their day-to-day functions. This includes but not limited to: accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general accounting duties. **Duties**:

- First and foremost embrace our core values: teamwork, mutual trust and effective communication.
- Accounts Payable including: process vendor invoices, check requests and expense reports, reconcile invoice discrepancies, monthly reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable; including day to day accounts receivable transactions, prepare invoices, bills and bank deposits, process incoming payments, maintain customer files and record, research and resolve payments and account reconciliation
- Accounting
- reconcile balance sheet/PnL, reconcile bank statements and G/L, enter and post journal entries, prepare consignment sales reporting, prepare commission statements, assist with month end closing, prepare ad hoc reports
- Payroll
- maintain employee records, input all payroll changes, calculate bonuses and commissions
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

- 1-3 years’ experience AP/AR or general accounting duties
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and strong mathematical skills
- Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Completed University/Colleague Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment.
- Professional and positive attitude, team player, quick learner with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Component Control - Quantum considered an asset, but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $51,436.00-$56,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
