Here at The Ultimate Party and Rental Store, we’re looking for a Manager to lead our incredible team. Whether you’ve been in our store before or you’ve been looking into getting into the events industry of Nova Scotia, this is your time.

We’re a family owned small business in the heart of Lower Sackville, currently we’re in our **10th **year of business with over 9000 weddings under our belt, our name is ‘Ultimate’ for a reason. Not only are we one of the top event companies in Nova Scotia, we also have an entire retail store for Party Supplies and Balloons. We take pride in ourselves that we have everything you need for any event our clients decided to host.

**Who We're Looking For**:
We're looking for a **skilled, outgoing** and **positive leader** to join our management team. Someone who's not afraid of solving problems as they arise, or taking charge when the situation unfolds. This person is motivated, creative and is looking for a career that doesn't feel like work.

The store manager is responsible for the overall success of the store and its profitability. The manager will be responsible for the management of the following:

- Managing the store's sales floor, including sales staff, sales leads, and floor managers.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Entrepreneurial mentality with experience in a sales focused environment
- Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others
- Customer service: delivering the finest level of customer service

**Required**:

- 1-2 Years of Management experience
- Strong POS background
- Ability to work full time _(work regularly demands in excess of 40 hours per week)_ including variable hours including mornings, evenings & weekends.
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Resolve issues in a professional and respectful manner
- Enjoys organization, being creative and is outgoing

Retail Store Management Job Description:

- Coach and motivate employees to achieve sales targets
- Oversee inventory management, product displays and promotional programs
- Manage basic day to day store operations
- Assign tasks, prioritize business requirements, oversee employee duties, and ensure operational effectiveness for both the party and rental business
- Ensure the store is kept clean, neat and organized and that all company policies are followed by all employees at all times
- Ensure a positive work environment for employees and an unmatched, superior customer experience at all times,
