As a Modernization Strategy Advisor you will engage with clients to discover broad enterprise challenges and opportunities, elevating conversations beyond the immediate opportunity and crafting a future-state vision that considers broader enterprise solutions. On this team you will provide challenger-based thought leadership with account teams, partners, and clients to fundamentally change the way modernization and the Pega technology is viewed by our clients.

- Build and maintain client relationships with the key decision makers and C-Suite in targeted Premier and Key organizations in specific industries across Business and IT
- Execute in alignment with Pega’s go-to-market strategy with focus on Modernization initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define the optimal strategy for modernization with Premier and Key organizations
- Attain and maintain an advanced level of understanding of Premier and Key client’s enterprise business and technology strategies in specific industries and Pega's role to realize those strategies
- Coalesce feedback from Clients and Partners and leverage feedback loop to the Industry Markets, Product, and Marketing teams that are responsible for developing go-to-market strategies
- Partner closely with Pega cross-functional team members across Sales, Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, Partner Relations, Enablement, Effectiveness, Product, Marketing, other Pega go-to-market team members supporting the Premier and Key client organizations

**What You'll Do at Pega**:

- Collaborate and align with sales, solutions consulting, product strategy teams, client success, professional services, and partners to develop and win specific client modernization opportunities in their assigned industries.
- Achieve specific modernization KPIs at targeted as developed by modernization and sales leadership.
- Provide industry-relevant expertise, insight, guidance and mentoring to sales and technical sales teams to maximize sales effectiveness during the pursuit of client modernization opportunities.
- Leverage sales, industry, and solutions consulting experience to assist the account team in crafting a modernization vision and sales strategy that transcends the immediate improvement solution areas to additionally provide a broader transformational impact for the client.
- Actively participate in account planning, lending industry expertise and perspective, combined with a deep understanding of the client’s business and technical digital transformation strategies, to create compelling Points of View (POV).
- Create compelling reference artifacts and presentation assets aligned to industry sales strategies.

**Who You Are**:

- Exceptional communicator who is strategic, analytical, influencing, with strong consulting skills, as well as a track record of building and leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Has breadth and depth of experience in technology and IT Operations with a deep understanding at an executive level of organizational structures, systems, architectures, and a clear understanding of how the industry operates, including regulatory, competitive and market influences that drive decision making.
- Success in an advisory role, advising senior leaders in complex business, operations, and technology topics.
- Success in leading (or major role in) complex, large-scale enterprise implementations and digital transformations.

**What You've Accomplished**:

- BA/BS Degree or equivalent business experience.
- 15+ years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility in building and leading high-performing teams across various disciplines
- 5+ years of experience with sales or pre-sales in a technology-oriented organization
- Prior experience in a Sales or Solutions Consulting and/or Professional Services background.
- Advanced degree preferred
