The Business Transformation team identifies and addresses opportunities for improvement within the Operations portfolio (national scope) and provides support to field, regional, and home office stakeholders. As the Decision Support Analyst, you are part of a multi-faceted, collaborative team and play a key role in creating digital and data solutions based on analytics and identified opportunities. Your solutions impact operational outcomes and are used by internal stakeholders to support strategic and/or day-to-day decisions.

Your fine eye for detail, experience with analyzing data, ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, and exceptional skill at weeding through data noise to find the true stories make you the go-to person for supporting teams who seek to understand what’s going on in their world.

Reporting to the Manager, Decision Support, you work closely with stakeholders across the organization and are a trusted advisor in making strategic decisions to improve quality, performance, and user experience.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Be a trusted analytics advisor**
- Collect, understand, and document requirements, business needs, stakeholder input, processes, and gaps
- Support organizational decision-making by designing/framing queries, analyzing and interpreting the results, and assessing data quality issues
- Develop meaningful insights, and provide sustainable recommendations and solutions aligned with organizational goals and those within the broader home and community healthcare sector
- Evaluate impacts from changes/updates to data sources
- Ensure that implemented solutions meet user-identified requirements

**Support and engage stakeholders through shared insights**
- Propose data and digital solutions in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and teams
- Effectively share complex concepts and meaningful interpretation of analysis and results
- Provide expertise and mentoring in data mining, cleansing, analyzing, and storytelling
- Engagingly train users and impacted stakeholders on reports, dashboards, and digital solutions

**Drive data analytics capabilities**
- Conduct and support quality checks of data, including user acceptance testing, for new/updated data and digital solutions aligned with strategic initiatives
- Navigate and, working closely with internal stakeholders, create/update master data
- Provide recommendations on the commissioning and decommissioning of data sets
- Collaborate in the development of informative and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and digital solutions supporting internal teams’ abilities to make informed decisions
- Support initiatives for data integrity, normalization, and standardization

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field
- Expert-level experience in data analytics and science
- Passionate about data analysis and sharing data stories with people
- Fluent in collecting and translating user requirements into technical, data-based requirements
- High-level ability to translate technical, data-based requirements into non-technical, lay terms
- Thrive in an environment of supporting multiple projects and various users
- Comfortable in handling large data sets and numerous user requirements
- Proficient in developing reports, dashboards, and digital solutions
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and independent worker balanced with an ability to take direction
- Flourishes in a work-from-home environment

**Recommended experience**:

- Experience with R, Python, SQL
- Experience with Big Data approaches and navigation
- Custom report/dashboard development experience
- Familiar with MicroStrategy (or other business intelligence tools)
