**ABOUT GOWLING WLG’S INDIGENOUS LAW GROUP**
Gowling WLG’s Indigenous Law Group has served as counsel to First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples for more than half a century. In that time, the firm has been instrumental in precedent-setting resource development projects, self-government agreements and cases before the Supreme Court of Canada. **EXPERIENCE**
- advising in complex negotiations relating to the recognition and implementation of Indigenous rights including the inherent right of self-government;
- advising in provincial, federal, and/or Indigenous environmental assessment;
- modern treaty negotiations and/or enforcement; and
- the Indigenous/natural resource sector (forestry, mining, renewable energy, pipelines, nuclear, hydro, etc.).
Gowling WLG employees benefit from a hybrid work environment.
The salary range for this position is $127,000 to $157,000 annually: the base pay offered may vary depending on Year of Call, specific practice-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity. In addition, Gowling WLG associates are eligible to a competitive bonus program based on performance
