**About the TWC Indigenous Internship Program**

The TWC Indigenous Internship Program is an immersive, paid, one-year program that provides project-based, hands-on work experience in the environmental and social consulting sector. Our work includes analysis, research, and writing for industry, government, and Indigenous clients. You will learn from our experienced team through a combination of one-on-one meetings and team collaborations. There may be opportunity for permanent employment with the completion of the internship.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the development of technical reports, proposals, presentations, training materials, and other initiatives by conducting research, analyzing data, and writing. Reports may include impact assessments, assessments of effects, community plans, land use plans, and governance plans.
- Support community engagement and consultation programs through the management of tracking and recordkeeping processes, attending events and meetings, and contributing to program development.
- Assist with internal projects in other TWC departments, potentially including Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Sales & Marketing, and Project Management.
- Actively participate in internal company meetings, training, and other functions.
- Other duties as needed.

**Eligibility Criteria**

To be eligible for this internship program, you must identify as an Indigenous person (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit) and must have graduated from a post-secondary program.

**Qualifications**
- You have an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant science or social science field.
- You are a strong communicator - both in written and verbal forms. Your communications are clear, respectful, and helpful.
- You have found ways to keep yourself organized and on task. You don’t miss deadlines.
- You are comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.

**Working Location & Travel**

This is an in-office position in either our downtown Victoria office or our co-working space in Vancouver. Some project assignments may require occasional travel and a presence at client sites, including offices, project operations, communities, and other premises.
