Science North is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of Organizational Development Officer. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting several key functions of the Organizational Development team, operate as a key resource for staff and management across the organization and ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and initiatives. Through a lens of organizational excellence, you will contribute to an inclusive and respectful workplace culture within the organization.

**Position highlights**:

- HRIS and payroll functions/process - Generate reports, provide key information for compensation reviews, administer employee changes, provide HRIS data maintenance and employee support
- Benefits and pension administration - Operate as a key resource and support for staff, lead day to day administration (in conjunction with finance team) including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Recognition program and events - Plan, organize and execute recognition and other innovative employee engagement programs
- Systems work - Leverage and master software such as HRIS, Applicant Tracking, Learning Management, Recognition and Benefits
- Employee Relations - Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR-related matters

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Administration or equivalent experience
- Outgoing attitude with an ability to thrive under a multi-tasking and deadline driven environment
- Skillful communication abilities, both oral and written
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Superior organizational skills and experience working in a detail-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities

**Compensation Highlights**:

- Competitive salary package range ($35,800 to $40,000)
