Zoetis Canada is recruiting for a Marketing Associate within their Livestock Business Unit. As the Marketing Associate - Livestock, you will be working closely with the Associate Marketing Manager, to effectively manage the Livestock Product Portfolio in accordance with guidance set by the Business Unit Director and Livestock Leadership Team.

This is an entry marketing level position suitable for a junior marketer. One of the most important functions in this role is that you will be required to work on product demand forecasts, seasonal promotions, and product lifecycles in association with the Associate Marketing Director. Furthermore, the position requires strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building with the following key stakeholders: Veterinary Technical Service, Business Operations, Finance, Regulatory and Global Supply Management. Apart from building these relationships, the Marketing Associate will also be required to work closely with the Field Force within the Livestock Business Unit.

The Marketing Associate - Livestock, will report directly to the Associate Marketing Manager and you will be an important part of the Marketing Team. You will be working on all livestock species with a focus on cattle, equine, poultry and aquaculture while also assisting the Product Manager responsible for all swine marketing activities.

This is a fast-paced environment where you will be able to put your marketing, financial and people skills to work to achieve organizational goals and performance targets.

This position requires about 10% of time associated with field travel to ensure interaction with key customers, opinion leaders and the field force.

**Education and Experience**

A Bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role within the Animal Health Industry or related field.

Commercial experience will be an asset and exposure to key financial indicators wll be an asset.

**Technical Skills and Requirements**
- Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office capabilities.
- Willingness to learn and open to coaching and personal development.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to deliver on deadlines within short notice.
- The ability to interact within all levels of the organization.
- Relevant livestock industry experience
- The ability to understand the meaning and implications of key financial indicators.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Bilingualism (English, French)

Zoetis Canada est à la recherche d’un adjoint au marketing pour l’unité opérationnelle - Bétail. Le titulaire du poste travaillera en étroite collaboration avec le chef adjoint - Marketing afin de gérer efficacement la gamme de produits destinés aux animaux d’élevage conformément aux lignes directrices établies par le directeur de l’unité opérationnelle et l’équipe de leadership - Bétail.

Il s’agit d’un poste de niveau débutant en marketing, approprié pour un spécialiste du marketing junior. L’une des fonctions les plus importantes du titulaire de ce poste est de s’occuper des prévisions de la demande de produits, des promotions saisonnières et du cycle de vie des produits, de concert avec le directeur adjoint - Marketing. De plus, ce poste exige une solide collaboration interfonctionnelle et la capacité de nouer des relations avec les intervenants des secteurs clés suivants : Service technique vétérinaire, Opérations commerciales, Finances, Réglementation et Chaîne d’approvisionnement mondial. Par ailleurs, l’adjoint au marketing doit collaborer étroitement avec l’effectif de vente de l’unité opérationnelle - Bétail.

L’adjoint au marketing - Bétail relève directement du chef adjoint - Marketing et est un membre important de l’équipe du marketing. Son travail porte sur toutes les espèces d’animaux d’élevage, et plus particulièrement sur les bovins, les chevaux, la volaille et le secteur de l’aquaculture, et il est également appelé à assister le chef de produits responsable des activités de marketing du secteur porcin.

Le titulaire du poste évoluera dans un environnement où les activités se déroulent à un rythme rapide et où il pourra mettre à profit ses compétences financières, en marketing et en relations humaines pour assurer l’atteinte des objectifs organisationnels et des cibles de rendement.

Ce poste exige des déplacements sur le terrain environ 10 % du temps aux fins d’interactions avec les clients clés, les leaders d’opinion et l’effectif de vente.

**Formation et expérience**

Baccalauréat en marketing et au moins une ou deux années d’expérience dans un poste en marketing au sein de l’industrie de la santé animale ou dans un secteur connexe.

Expérience commerciale, un atout, et expérience avec les indicateurs financiers clés, également un atout.
