**The Role**
As a member of the People & Cullture team, you are looking to further your career into a well-rounded hands-on end-to-end people partner and operations expert. You will straddle partnering closely with your business unit(s) by providing effective and efficient strategic guidance and tactical support to people leaders and their team-members, while also driving process improvement through delivering on our global people programs and regional people operations. You are curious, creative, collaborative, and pretty savvy with excel, word, powerpoint and HR systems (we use BambooHR). In our remote-first environment, you work well at home and are able to join us in the office for some in-person face-time. You like to make things happen, see things through our internal customer's eyes, and find the fun in what we do
**What You'll Do**
**People Partner**
- Support people leaders and team members on key areas such as organizational design, role design, succession planning, engagement, retention, employee relations and performance management
- Identify gaps within the business unit(s) you support and propose solutions that support overall People team strategic plans
- Partner with leaders and team members to resolve people-related issues with creative solutions and well-defined recommendations
- Handle offboarding of team members to ensure a smooth transition and conduct exit interviews
- Develop trusting working relationships with leaders and team members across the Company
- Be an ambassador for PayByPhone and a champion of our employee experience
**People Programs**
- With a continuous improvement mindset, and in collaboration/partnership with our global and regional People & Culture colleagues, positively influence our robust programs and processes by providing input and delivering on: orientation, onboarding/offboarding, performance reviews, employee engagement surveys, compensation reviews, leadership and talent development
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and support the Business Unit management in defining the organizational structure, identifying and refining recruitment strategies and resolving recruitment roadblocks
- Recruit and facilitate Orientation sessions as back-up support as needed
**People Operations**
- Represent People & Culture in regional Health & Safety Committee, Social Committee and Diversity Equity & Inclusion Task Force
- Support People Solutions team and business units with Performance Reviews and Salary Reviews
- Prepare compensation changes report for Payroll team, ensuring back-up support remain current with process
**What you Bring**
- 3+ years of people operations, people partnering, or similar experience, in a fast-paced environment
- Diploma or degree in HR management or related discipline
- Knowledge in employee relations, conflict management, disability management
- Knowledge in employment law, human rights and immigration
- Knowledge in HR Systems with the confidence to identify efficiencies, learn independently through on-line tutorials and propose/make changes in configuration
- Ability to outline a compelling and succinct story and recommendation in powerpoint and effectively present your work
- Strong ability with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc) and Word (mail merge and template design)
- Familiarity with MS 365 (One Drive) or Google Docs
- Partnering with multi-disciplinary teams and leaders in a fast paced organization throughout the entire employee lifecycle
- Design and delivery of People initiatives and/or programs with measurable positive impact on culture and the employee experience
- Solid operational understanding of end-to-end employee life-cycle
- Experience working in the technology sector (preferred)

- You are a trusted partner within Your business unit(s) and recognized as a key member of the respective business unit's team
- Leaders and team members rely on you without question for coaching, advice and support for people-related aspects
- You work closely with the global People & Culture team on global people programs and projects, and with the North America Talent Acquisition and People Solutions/Operations team that impact and align with strategic business objectives at the business, local and global level
