- Ocean’s full suite of EMR-integrated patient engagement solutions, from online booking to patient messages, and check-in kiosks, is reducing the burden on providers and clinic staff, while empowering patients to access their own health data. The same platform is giving clinicians a way to easily send eReferrals and eConsults through the Ocean Provider Network, improving overall system efficiency and reducing wait times.
- By connecting disconnected systems, replacing paper forms and faxes, and giving patients ways to connect with clinicians online, OceanMD is providing the foundation for digitally enabled healthcare across Canada. OceanMD (Formerly Cognisant MD) is a part of WELL Health Technologies.
**Position Summary**: Join us as we change healthcare for the better. Reporting to the Vice-President, Product & Interoperability, we are looking for a Product Manager, Patient Engagement. You will work in close partnership with leadership to drive the product design, development, and delivery strategy for our suite of provider-to-patient communication tools, such as Online Booking, Patient Messages, and Patient Reminders. This is a hybrid work opportunity with the requirement to be in the office three days per week.
**What you will be doing**:
- Strategic execution: Execute the Patient Engagement product plan and ensure its alignment with the overall business strategy. Define, prioritize, translate, and oversee new features and enhancements across multiple products to maximize customer success and achieve corporate goals.
- Leadership accountability: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to gain and share insights into the needs of the industry and customers. Manage the product release cycle and interact with a wide range of business and practice leaders to ensure successful and on-schedule launches.
- Manage the product lifecycle: Assess the problems our current and potential customers need to solve and how we can meet those needs through new features and functionality. Drive initiatives and present new product concepts that incorporate intuitiveness, ease-of-use, and accessibility into the user interaction and user experience of our Patient Engagement tools.
**You have**:
- Strong skills across the product implementation lifecycle, including managing multiple products, requirements gathering, UI/UX, user story writing, UAT, and knowledge transfer.
- Comfortable communicating with Sales and Engineering teams.
- Proven experience leading the development of a SaaS product in an agile environment, collaborating with engineering, customer success, support, sales, and marketing colleagues.
- Experience in healthcare or health tech (not mandatory).
- Effective and flexible communication skills, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and comfortable working with in-person and remote teams.
- Critical thinker, problem solver, continuously pursuing knowledge, inspired by a fast-paced environment, and passionate about WELL's purpose.
