**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Responsible for providing administrative support to the faculty affairs programs and services, including assisting in the development and maintenance of academic HR systems and processes; preparing documentation and delivering training to Carleton staff on the effective use of the new systems; working on with other staff in the implementation of changes to academic HR systems and processes by assisting in testing of the new systems new templates and documenting new processes. The position also providing support for the Carleton community on issues related to academic HR systems and processes.

**Qualifications**:
**The incumbent must possess the following qualifications**:

- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Excellent writing skills are required to edit and produce website information as well as technical documentation
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and processes including regulatory reports and academic Collective Agreements
- Knowledge of IT development procedures
- Presentation skills to perform training
- Tact, discretion and diplomacy are crucial to performing the duties of the position.
- Experience in data analysis, interpretation, and verification
- Knowledge of Project Management would be an asset

**Education and Experience**:
**The above is normally acquired through**:

- The completion of College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- Minimum of two years of previous human resources or administrative experience or system and IT technical experience, including a combination of customer or client service, recruitment, selection, orientation, or onboarding preferably in a University setting
