**Junior Systems Administrator**

**Role Summary**

Full-time / Permanent / Hybrid

PortfolioAid is looking for a proactive professional who will be responsible for providing comprehensive end-user support to internal staff. As the primary point of contact for day-to-day functioning of the IT Helpdesk, the role is responsible for the successful setup and maintenance of hardware, software tools and solutions, network and internet technical services, and more. The role reports to the Director of Risk and will have an opportunity to participate in new IT initiatives, working closely with employees throughout other departments.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure thorough documentation of issues and resolutions
- Engage in the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees as it relates to IT equipment/tools and provisioning access points
- Install/configure PC hardware, software, and peripherals
- Maintain Hardware/Software inventory and record changes and transfer of licenses
- Manage account creation, roles, permissions, and group policies via Active Directory
- Coordinate hardware repairs, undertake routine maintenance, and modify computer systems and related equipment
- Uphold MS Teams telephony, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Wi-Fi, and other network devices
- Employ diagnostic tools to identify problems, troubleshoot, and implement effective solutions
- Provide fundamental IT training to staff and deliver robust support to both onsite and remote users
- Assist in procurement and research of hardware upgrades
- Execute other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Successful completion of a diploma in Computer Technology or related field from a recognized post-secondary institution or technical institution
- Two (2) year related experience
- Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN/VPN technologies, Linux access management, network protocols, and computer and network security protocols
- The technical knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, Azure, Office 365, Exchange Administration, SharePoint, Intune, VMware
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal users and external vendor partners
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions using sound judgement
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
