**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting to the Director of IT, Curriculum, you will be the primary person responsible for supporting the various users and the associated departments’ operational and reporting needs. You will also have responsibility for the maintenance and security of the SIS and LMS.

This is a permanent, 5 day per week position. This position will be an onsite position for at least the first three months.

KCS offers an excellent compensation package upon hire. Your anticipated start at KCS would May 2023.

**YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**

Student Information System (SIS) & Learning Management System (LMS)
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across systems
- Monitor system security across all users
- Monitor, generate and update user accounts, relationships and contacts
- Monitor support requests queue daily and prioritize the list effectively
- Troubleshoot user issues (internal and external) and source creative solutions
- Manage the user access to Community Groups in the LMS
- Create and monitor all SIS and admissions forms
- Manage all annual roll-over items for both Junior & Senior Schools in both systems
- Onboard new parents to both systems
- Extract data and generate lists and/or reports for various departments as requested
- Documentation of key processes
- Provide support and training for school community members as needed.
- Proactively investigate & make recommendations for process improvements
- Conduct data reconciliation and system audits
- Participate with industry colleagues and other groups to stay abreast of best practices
- Assist the Director of IT, Curriculum with other SIS & LMS projects as needed
- Provide secondary support to faculty and students in the effective use of the LMS

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in quantitative field
- 3 - 5 years’ experience working in an education’s SIS & LMS environment
- Understanding of database architectures and proven ability to manage organization databases
- High functioning critical thinking, problem solving and system evaluation skills
- Advanced Excel, HTML, SQL, JSON, VBA, PowerBI, other programming languages or analytics tools
- Superb attention to detail and sound logical approach to managing tasks and projects
- Curious and creative problem solver
- Ability to troubleshoot systems issues and independently identify & test new processes
- Ability to work effectively and exercise good judgment with all levels of students, staff and parents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player who is customer-service oriented and able to work independently
- Able to handle and prioritize multiple requests concurrently, develop individual timelines and meet deadlines
- Enthusiasm for the KCS mission and vision
- Eligible to work in Canada

**Not Required but considered an Asset**
- Experience working in independent schools
- Knowledge of PowerSchool and/or Schoology
