Vancouver, Canada PortaOne Full time

PortaOne is looking for a technical writer to join our team. You’ll be working with new release guides, handbooks that keep updating permanently.

At PortaOne, we have complicated products — and we seek a professional that’ll be explaining them in clear and simple language. Our aim is that both engineers and decision-makers that might not possess enough technical knowledge could understand the instructions and our products’ benefits.

**Required skills**:

- English level — Upper-intermediate and higher
- 1.5+ years of technical writing experience in IT
- Experience with HTML and CSS
- Experience with WordPress (basic level)

**We offer**:

- Professional Development. At PortaOne, we offer a wide range of professional training: both on our products and those aiming to boost your professional skills. Also, you’ll join a team of experienced colleagues willing to share their knowledge. You can continue growing as a technical writer or even switch to another department
- Stability. In the modern world, our product is necessary, and this means that you will be in business, with exciting challenges and a stable income
- Great work culture. You’ll be joining a friendly, welcoming team, and you’ll have the opportunity to participate in fun team building and corporate events
- We work with licensed software (Adobe Illustrator, Grammarly Pro) — you’ll have a chance to master these instruments
- Competitive salary in USD
- Flexible schedule. You’ll have an 8-hour working day starting any time between 9 and 11 AM
- English classes with the experienced teachers
- Paid vacation and sick leave

**Responsibilities**:

- Describe new functionalities of PortaOne products in a clear non-geeky language
- Create help files, handbooks
- Fact-check the existing documentation

**Does this sound like the spot for you?**:
If you are interested in this position or just think you’d be a valuable member of the team in another capacity, please contact us today.

We look forward to hearing from you :)
