We are currently seeking a highly organized and adaptable **Supply Chain Coordinator** to join our fast-paced environment.
**Position Overview**: The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our cannabis facility, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role requires an individual with exceptional multi-tasking abilities, strong communication, and negotiation skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Oversee Operational Logistics**: Plan and organize the movement of materials, supplies, and products across departments, ensuring timely and efficient coordination with production, warehouse, and other work units.
- ** Vendor Relationship Management**: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, competitive pricing, and quality products.
- ** Inventory Management**: Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production needs and reduce operational delays.
- ** Scheduling & Coordination**: Work closely with production supervisors to schedule production runs in a cost
- and time-efficient manner, optimizing the supply chain flow.
- ** Procurement & Cost Management**: Research suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage purchasing to ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining high-quality standards.
- ** Supply Chain Optimization**: Continuously assess the supply chain process, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to improve speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- ** Data Analysis & Reporting**: Prepare and submit reports on inventory, vendor performance, and overall supply chain operations, using data to inform strategic decisions.
- ** Clerical Duties**: Perform routine administrative and clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
- ** Compliance & Quality Control**: Ensure all products and supplies adhere to industry regulations and internal quality standards.
- ** Other duties as required.**
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or other relevant role (experience in the cannabis industry is an asset).
- ** Adaptability**: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment with evolving priorities.
- ** Multi-Tasking**: Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- ** Negotiation & Communication**: Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a talent for building and maintaining vendor relationships.
- ** Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify problems and implement practical solutions quickly and efficiently.
