**The Role**:

- The Energy Systems-Operation Analyst will play a vital role in supporting clients in the commercial, industrial and MASH sector to maximize their building energy and operational efficiency, reduce waste, reduce costs and support sustainability mandates. Services will include but not be limited to Utility Analysis, Technical Analysis on various energy consuming Equipment, Facility Operations, Measurement and Verifications related to Energy Upgrades and Optimization and on-site Metering and Data Collection.

**Education/Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Degree/Diploma (preferred)
- Experience with Commercial HVAC, Electrical, and Control Systems (mandatory)
- Experience with conducting Analysis on Energy consuming equipment (Excel mandatory)
- Experience with design software, single line and as built drawings for metering deployment planning and quoting (mandatory)
- Experience with simulation software (RetScreen) (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel Software
- Strong interest working in a growing business with cutting edge technologies in Energy/Operational Efficiency Industry, Sustainability, Environmental, social, and governance (ESG)
- Positive attitude working in a constantly changing environment

**Preferred Skills**:

- 2-3 years’ experience in similar field is preferred

**Detailed Skills and Duties**

**Responsibilities**
- Install or oversee the installation of wireless, self-powering device level electrical submetering CTs, 3rd party utility meters, gas, water and compressed air etc. and integrate into Cloud-based energy management platform.
- Install or oversee the installation of data acquisition system for real-time data connection and analysis of cooling and refrigeration systems.
- Perform Technical Analysis of Energy consuming equipment such as HVAC, Mechanical, Refrigeration, an Electrical Systems
- Data Analysis will incorporate utility usage history, weather standardization, KPI of performance and operational baseline and efficiency case implementation
- Provide finding from Analysis in standardized formats (Tables, Graphs, Excel Data Sheets etc.) to be incorporated into Reports in conjunction with Engineering Team
- Perform Building Energy modelling/simulations as required using applicable software such as RetScreen, AutoCAD etc.
- Create Mechanical and Electrical schematics as required for scoping, proposed installation and metering purposes or other required purposes
- Perform technical analysis on various selected equipment to provide comparison studies of different technologies or products as required
- Conduct Site Visits as required to collect data and/or perform testing on equipment. Testing may include but not be limited to flow metering, thermal imaging, chiller monitoring, energy management CR set up etc.
- Participate in commissioning and optimization of installed Systems/Equipment as required
- Interact with Renteknik Engineering Team and Project Coordinator and other members of Renteknik to provide information, support and ongoing communication throughout Project.
- Validate the upgrade, maintenance and repair of building infrastructure including machinery, equipment and electrical systems for energy and operational efficiency gains.
- Perform onsite and remote work on regular basis
- Continuously monitor equipment operation to promote preventative maintenance
- Issue customized reports and alerts to facility maintenance personnel to ensure optimized performance of equipment
