Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced System Integration Specialist to join our team at Ulteig Engineers, Inc. in the Renewable Energy industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and commissioning control systems that integrate multiple sub-systems to meet operational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logic for assigned project tasks, including client and contractor coordination, logic development & testing, and task completion within budget and timeframes.
  • Create technical documentation, such as control logic, test procedures, and user manuals.
  • Program PLCs using Allen Bradley, Schneider, or SEL RTAC platforms, and HMIs/SCADAs using Ignition, Wonderware, or Kepware/Topserver platforms.
  • Participate in on-site commissioning and start-up activities.
Requirements:
  • Two-year technical degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Seven+ years of industrial control system integration, robotics system integration, or programming experience.
  • Renewable energy industry exposure, specifically wind, PV, and BESS systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures.
  • Effective use of common software tools and ability to train others.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to read and create engineering design drawings, including communication diagrams, logic diagrams, and network schematics.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SQL, Access).
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards.
  • Possession of permanent authorization to work in the US.
Estimated Salary:

$95,000 - $115,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
