**Position Summary**:
The Commercial Business Development Manager (BDM) will create and develop relationships with professional dealers, distributor personnel, Regional Landscape Accounts, and large end users such as municipalities, educational facilities, hospitality, etc. with the purpose of selling Greenworks Professional Outdoor Power Equipment and raising brand awareness within the commercial OPE segment. This Manager will work closely with both the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and local Distributor Territory Managers (TM) by developing opportunities to pursue new relationships to establish new commercial sales and expand our professional dealer base. The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a key role in the growth, development, and sales within the Professional Products category at Greenworks Tools. This position will work closely with their assigned Distributor Sales Team and serve as a liaison and resource for the Distributor Territory Managers and authorized Greenworks Commercial Dealers within their assigned geography.

The ability to work independently and maintain relationships with business stakeholders will be critical to the success of this role.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ownership of this business segment and the achievement of assigned goals and objectives.
- Ownership of company issued demo equipment.
- Perform product training to Distributor Staff and Key Dealer personnel.
- Prospecting, lead generation, and acquisition of new accounts for Greenworks' distribution within these business areas.
- Lead role within tradeshows and key marketing events within the channel.
- Develop new product launch initiatives within assigned geography.
- Work cross functional with other departments such as Marketing, Product Management, and Field Sales Personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Preferred** Assets**:

- Experience working with power equipment
- Good understanding in mechanics
- Experience working with battery powered tools

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Bilingual
- French/English preferred
- Positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Customer-centric attitude with the ability to deal with cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence senior level management and key business stakeholders.

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Associates Degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience or transferrable skills
- 2-5 years of experience working within an OPE or OPE Parts Manufacturer.
- 2-5 years of field sales experience within an OPE or OPE Parts Manufacturer.

**Travel/Position Hours of Work**:

- 60-75% Travel Time.
- Full-time Remote position.
- Occasional evening and weekend work could possibly be required as job duties demand.
