**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Technical Service and Training. This key role reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing technical leadership, developing and delivering training programs, and promoting concrete within the construction industry.

While Concrete Alberta’s office is located in Edmonton, we support a hybrid workplace model.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs on concrete technology, design, and construction.
- Coordinate and deliver concrete certification programs as the official local sponsor group for the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
- Provide technical support to members and industry stakeholders on concrete-related issues.
- Lead and manage the Association's concrete plant and mobile mixer certification programs.
- Oversee the concrete comparative test program and ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with industry partners, government, and educational institutions to advance the use of concrete.
- Represent Concrete Alberta at industry events, conferences, and technical committees.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, codes, and standards related to concrete.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Concrete Alberta's strategic initiatives.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the concrete industry, with a focus on technical service and training.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Alberta.
