**Position Overview**:
AdvantAge Ontario is transitioning to a new Salesforce-based Association Management System (AMS) to streamline operations and enhance member services.

We seek an experienced **Contract Consultant IT Project Manager** to oversee the successful implementation of our Salesforce-based AMS in collaboration with Plutus, a Premier Fonteva Implementation Partner. This role involves managing multiple stakeholders, including the software vendor, implementation consultant, and working with organization staff. The Project Manager will ensure milestones are achieved, risks are mitigated, and the project stays on track for a revised go-live date of June 2025.

**Note that this is a part-time, six-months contract opportunity (approximately 20 to 25 hours per week).**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Management**:

- Monitor milestones and deliverables to ensure alignment with the project timeline.
- Collaborate with Plutus to track progress, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
- Document a comprehensive project plan, including change management and communication strategies.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Act as the primary liaison between Plutus, AdvantAge Ontario staff, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings and coordinate resources to ensure successful execution.
- Develop a communication plan to inform members and staff about project impacts and updates.
- **User Acceptance Testing (UAT)**:

- Manage and track UAT progress, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Coordinate staff training involved in UAT to ensure preparedness.
- **Risk and Change Management**:

- Identify and address risks proactively, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure smooth transitions for staff and members during system go-live.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Five plus years of experience managing IT implementation projects, preferably involving Salesforce or AMS platforms.
- Experience with project planning, tracking, collaboration and reporting tools (Gantt charts, Kanban boards, etc).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with UAT processes and training coordination.
- Experience in risk mitigation and change management strategies.
- Strong professional acumen, proven analytical skills and ability to communicate to non-finance stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exercise confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the Association.

**Location**:
The position is primarily remote. Availability for occasional in-person meetings is an advantage, but not mandatory.
