Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources this position will be based in the Edmonton Airport office, Canada.

**Responsibilities**:
- Support the site-based HR staff in the performance of their duties; including but not limited to, investigations, goal establishment, probationary management, performance adherence and reporting functions;
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement;
- Conduct organizational assessments and implement interventions to improve team dynamics and collaboration;
- Identify potential risks related to HR practices and propose mitigation strategies;
- Assist in developing and maintaining HR policies, procedures and process that aligned with B2Gold’s philosophy, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements;
- Participate in workforce planning activities to anticipate and address staffing requirements;
- Maintain performance management systems, including setting objectives, facilitating annual performance evaluations, providing feedback to employees;
- Coordinate onboarding and site induction programs for new hires, ensuring a positive and engaging employment experience; and
- Update HRIS and related systems, including Masterfile maintenance, ensuring accuracy of records.
**Desired Competencies and Requirements**:
- Three (3) years of Human Resources experience, preferably in the construction, mining, or production industry sectors;
- Post Secondary Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or Management Studies;
- Demonstrated capability adding, modifying, and removing moderate complete dataset in information programs with a high degree of accuracy with a preference for those familiar with Enterprise Level Human Resources Information Systems.
**Compensation and Benefits**:
For informational purposes, the annual salary for the role is $80,000.00
