**POSITION**: Temporary Part Time Unit Assistant - Childbirth (UNIFOR Service) Until Approximately December 31, 2024 (2 Positions)

**HOURS OF WORK**: 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts Days/Nights/Evenings/Weekends

**Summary**:
Providing housekeeping duties to assigned areas. Patient transfers and stocking of supplies. Providing support to the nursing staff in emergency situations as required. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.'

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a janitorial/housekeeping position, preferably in an institutional environment is an asset
- OR Attendant or MDRD course is preferred
- Must be able to perform duties efficiently under limited supervision
