**About the Position**

As the Human Resources Coordinator, you are a professional who supports the administration and facilitation of HR processes and procedures within the organization. You will assist the HR Manager with recruitment, onboarding, record maintenance, reporting, employee relations as well as acting as a first point of contact for all employee queries and employee support.

**Summary of Responsibilities**

Recruitment
- Create and Post Job Descriptions on job posting sites;
- Monitor Postings, pre-screen applicants and present to Hiring Managers;
- Schedule Secondary Interviews and lead the interview as the HR representative on the call;
- Discuss and advise offers with Hiring Managers and Partners;
- Update and maintain recruitment tracking and other recruitment metrics;
- Oversee Co-op student recruitment program, acting as main liase with universities/colleges.

New-Hire Onboarding
- Complete full cycle onboarding for all new hires;
- Facilitate new hire orientation;
- Act as first point of contact for all new hires in their first week.

Employee Relations
- Meet with employees upon request to address any questions or concerns;
- Draft and prepare all necessary HR letters to be sent to HR manager for final approval.

Company Events
- Assist the marketing committee as a member by coordinating all company events throughout the year.
- Oversee and full planning of Co-Op “Student Fun Day”.

Talent Management
- Support the HR manager in the annual performance management process;
- Maintain staff’s professional staff accreditation records and coordinates and co-ordinates the required sign off on professional dues;
- Update and maintain employee records in all internal systems (ex CCH, ADP etc);
- Produce weekly timesheet utilization reports to be sent to management on a weekly basis.

ADP Administrator
- First point of contact for all employee questions pertaining to time off requests in ADP WorkForceNow.
- Monthly audits of time off policy usage firmwide.

Payroll
- Assist HR manager with Semi-Monthly payroll deadlines, calculating gross pay for hourly staff;
- Prepare paydata batches and navigate payroll approval process in ADP WorkforceNow;
- Other payroll tasks, as requested by HR Manager.

Other duties
- Help CPA students on the path to CPA designation; meeting with PERT representatives as needed, assigning mentors and tracking CPA student progress;
- Researching HR related provisions pertaining to salary benchmarks, new policies and procedures;
- Follow up on staff’s questions from an administration perspective;
- Posting HR news on Sharepoint;
- Any Ad Hoc Tasks or special projects, as assigned by HR manager.

**Summary of Experience**
- Minimum 1 year in customer service environment
- Professional services environment experience is an asset

**Requirements**:

- University degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or post Graduate program in Human Resources Management
- Working towards CHRP designation an asset
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations and policies and occupational health and safety legislation and procedures
- Must have exposure to or experience with ADP WorkforceNow
- Comfort working in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
