Network Infrastructure

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

As part of the team, you will:

- Work in a high-paced environment supporting Nokia's industry-leading network management platforms.
- Work with Nokia's latest network management, automation, and network routing products.

Every day will be a new challenge and you’ll get exposure to a wide variety of technologies used in industry-leading ISP networks. Your skills in Linux, Java, and networking will be pushed to the limit and you’ll surprise yourself with the knowledge you finish the semester with.

**Your skills and experience**

**Education Recommendations**

Currently enrolled in the second, third, or fourth year of a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer, Software, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with an accredited school in Canada

You have:

- Skilled with Linux or eager to learn.
- Familiar with TCP/IP and network routing/switching.
- Troubleshooting software or network problems
- Scripting (bash, Python, Go, etc.)
- Experienced with Java and the JVM

It would be nice if you're:

- Someone who thrives under pressure.
- Self-driven, especially when working from home.
