**Supplier Compliance Administrator, Glencore Canada**

Glencore Canada procurement team is searching for a Supplier Compliance Administrator. Reporting to Glencore Canada Corporation’s Supplier Compliance Coordinator you will be responsible for various aspects of supplier risk management and supplier pre-qualification assessments across the Canadian operations.

The Administrator will ensure that suppliers of Glencore Canada are screened through the applicable SIM and CRA evaluation(s). You will identify any exceptions in the Compliance and where applicable, Supply chain Due Diligence screening results and will escalate exceptions to the Regional Glencore Compliance Officer and where applicable, the Manager Responsible Sourcing and/or delegates to resolve those exceptions.

The primary role of the Administrator is to ensure, through the use of SIM and CRA related questionnaires, that suppliers of Glencore Canada operations meet our required standards for ethics, health & safety and human rights. They must also work with local Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to ensure suppliers qualify according to an acceptable level of risk in all areas of concern including environmental, financial, data security, privacy, resiliency, and others.

Should any assessment require further action, the Administrator will escalate to the applicable process owners to work with the suppliers and ensure a continual development of their systems in order to bring them to a minimum standard. Having suppliers with high standards will have a positive impact on the Glencore business as well as the communities in which we operate.

The Administrator will also support the coordinator with continual enhancements to streamline the Coupa SIM and CRA platforms, including all configuration, programs, and content.

**The position encompasses some of the following duties and responsibilities**:

- In addition to the above, assist and support the Department in meeting their objectives in lowering risks and increasing compliance across the business.
- Provide analytics and metrics to demonstrate overall risk across Glencore Canada.
- Immediately communicate and escalate red flags and/or non-compliances through logging of action plans on any high-risk supplier, including notifying the procurement leads and necessary parties internally.
- Ensuring proper workflow and approvals are followed for new suppliers added.
- Where necessary, ensure that the supplier onboarding process also includes the necessary bank screening which the finance team will manage.
- Recommend and support improvements and developments, which have strategic value for Glencore Canada. These may include system and configurations developments, or process improvements.
- The role requires working across significant boundaries including multiple business units and various management levels within and outside the organization.
- Monitor the day-to-day communications within Coupa Risk Assess and ensure compliance with Glencore policies.
- Participate in regular meetings or forums together with Supplier Compliance with the Glencore Regional Compliance Officer as well as site SMEs.
- Support the Coordinator to plan and execute appropriate change management exercises in SIM and CRA to implement new programs or refine existing programs in a manner, which identifies potential new opportunities in risk mitigation.
- Recommend and develop business process changes in order to improve the risk process in all relevant Glencore sites.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (ISO, Health, Safety, Financial Audits, etc.)
- Participate in the appropriate training within the scope of responsibilities to further develop business process knowledge.
- The incumbent should spend 10% of the time in the field coordinating requirements and improvements with key stakeholders throughout Glencore Canada.

**Qualifications and Experience required**:

- Ability to process and validate data accurately
- 2 years’ experience in a Supplier compliance, Supplier Analytics or Customer Service role with experience within an operation would be advantageous.
- Related industry experience although important is not required.
- Bachelors or college degree in business, supply chain management or related field would be advantageous
- Have the knowledge and ability to utilize various technology tools to complete analysis.
- Sound Computer literacy.
