Supplier Compliance Analyst

**Summary of Responsibilities**
This role would be the main source of contact regarding Substances of Concern, Green Procurement, and Compliance for suppliers of parts and accessories. This position will also include the coordination with YMUS, YME and YMC divisions and other Yamaha subsidiaries for the same items.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and maintain Substance of Concern (SOC) / Green Procurement Program and other corporate requirements with suppliers
- Ensure IMDS and corporate database entry by suppliers in support of Green Procurement initiatives
- Communicate directly with suppliers to provide training and support
- Develop work instructions, and standard procedures to meet company requirements
- Read and interpret engineering schematics and drawings
- Coordinate required third party lab tests for part content and material verification
- Verify and keep records that all active and new parts are in IMDS and corporate database.
**Education Requirements and/or Experience Requirements**
- **Degree/Diploma**:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- **Program of Study**:Business, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Sciences/chemistry, or Environmental Science
- **Years of Experience**:3-5 years
- **Type of Experience**:Purchasing and/or environmental
**Skills & Abilities**
- BS/BA or 3-5 years’ experience purchasing or environmental field of work
- Knowledge / Experience with IMDS and SoC Requirements, Supply Chain knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of domestic and international environmental regulations (ex. ECCC, GADSL, REACH)
- Chemical and Material Knowledge
- Ability to read engineering schematics/drawings
- Strong customer service and communication skills
