**Administrative Assistant**

The CPAC Food and Music Festival is a celebration of the fusion of music and food. The festival celebrates multiculturalism by bringing the Caribbean Community together with its rich history and diverse culture. It continues to draw audiences mainly from across Canada and the USA. It is the longest running Food and Music festival in North America.

**Position Summary**:
**This role is a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to the Event Manager This is a part-time remote position working approximately 3-5 hours per week.**

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of relevant experience; Previous work in Event/Festival Planning is a bonus.
- Completed college or university degree in business, communications, office administration, or similar.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, Google).
- Strong time management and organizational skills, able to adjust schedules, meet deadlines, and produce quality work.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Experience in taking meeting minutes.
- Familiarity with Square POS system.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Attend meetings, record minutes, and maintain meticulous records.
- Engage in corresponding with internal and external contacts
- Keeping important information and documents organized physically, and electronically.
- Assist the Event Manager in various human resources tasks, such as recruitment, documentation management, and compliance.
- Other administration activities as identified and agreed to with the Event manager

- The role of Administrative Assistant is a part-time position approximately 3-5 hrs/week

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 5 per week
