This position is a Grande Prairie area-based position with extensive travel. The role will be serving NW Alberta, Grande Prairie, and NE British Columbia region (the Peace Country).

As part of our outside sales team, the successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual with a background in rotating equipment/pumps as well as experience in sales and service. Products offerings include a full range of aftermarket offerings: parts; service; repairs; overhauls; re-rates; reliability and trouble-shooting products and services; and industrial synthetic lubricants.

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales with existing customers and developing opportunities with new customers within assigned territory. **Education, Skills, and Experience**
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Millwright, Certified Engineering Technologist, Mechanical Engineer, or equivalent related industrial experience.
- Hands on experience in heavy repairs would be an asset.
- Knowledge of centrifugal and reciprocating pumps an asset.
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Scheduling appointments and visiting existing customers to review product needs and developing other opportunities.
- Knowledge and ability to present full product portfolio.
- Presenting product quotes as required.
- Organizing and attending joint sales calls with Westpower Product Specialists.
- Developing new accounts.
- Continuously updating customers on product improvements.
- Providing solutions to customers’ problems.
- Attending Trade Shows and Conferences.
- Introduction of new products to customers.
- Liaising between customers and the company to update status of proposals.
- Preparing reports for marketing and sales and keeping expense accounts.
- Performing maintenance and updating of customers’ accounts including contact names for future sales.
- Keeping up to date on new products, services, procedures, and tools by attending training and departmental meetings.
- All other job duties as required.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
