Entrepreneurship Relationship Manager, Special Loans

**The opportunity**:
As an Entrepreneurship Relationship Manager, Special Loans (ERM Special Loans) within the Risk and Compliance Department, you are a professional with strong relationship management skills and financial acumen responsible for managing and recovering overdue loans and debt. You establish relationships with existing borrowers to identify and resolve issues to manage instances of delinquency using advanced credit and collection skills. You directly contribute to the financial health of the loan portfolio by ensuring overdue accounts are recovered efficiently and effectively whilst protecting the client relationship.
**Overview of Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and track all allocated accounts daily and take appropriate preventive/corrective action as may be required
- Review financial condition and operating trends of clients for changes adversely affecting loan quality
- Structure, recommend and present loan amendment requests for approval in accordance with FACE’s credit policy
- Recommend definitive actions (repossession, investigation, write-off, collections etc.) to be taken to close delinquent accounts as applicable
- Coordinate with relevant business units (FACE Support Center, Business Lending) to provide wrap around support to clients that require same leveraging FACE’s partners
- Prepare weekly and monthly recovery reports to be shared with leadership for decision making, highlighting developing trends among delinquent loans
- Maintain proper documentation of all communication, requests, issues and actions related to customers
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the financial, commercial lending, or related sectors, with specific experience in loan remediation/credit operations
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of lending products and services, including industry specific knowledge as applicable
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and video conferencing technology.
- Strong time management, organizational and reporting skills
- Bilingualism an asset
- High level of integrity and customer orientation
