**Job Summary**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with Indigenous partners (First Nations’) to develop recruitment strategies.
- In collaboration with managers and HR Director, onboard and orientate all new hires.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive personnel records.
- Liaise with ATC’s benefits providers as necessary for administration of benefits programs.
- Serve as the point of contact for team members regarding benefits, including educating employees through information sharing sessions.
- Draft general forms, letters, reports, and memos as directed by the HR Director.
- Collaborates with Management to ensure employee performance reviews are completed annually.
- Ensure organizational compliance with company policies and procedures in accordance with the Alberta Employment Standards Code and Human Rights Law.
- Provides support with organization and coordination of staff and team meetings.
- Prepare, update, and recommend human resource policies and procedures as directed by the HR Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- Degree or diploma in business administration, human resources management, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of general human resources work experience.
- Strong organization, communication (verbal and written), presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail, with a steady deliberate approach in task execution and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across the organization.
- Intermediate to advanced skill level using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required).
- Experience working with and knowledge of First Nations’ culture, traditions and values is a definite asset.
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation.
- The ability to speak Cree or Dene is an asset.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Criminal Record or Vulnerable Sector Check
- Intervention Record Check
- Class 5 Driver’s License and clear Drivers Abstract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Work Conditions**:

- Occasional travel to field locations may be required.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends if business needs require.
